Vernon Keenan

Mr. Keenan is a senior information technology industry analyst based in Oakland, California. He is a 45-year computer industry veteran who excels at synthesizing knowledge and producing expert analysis of the information technology industry.
Mr. Keenan started his career as a researcher while earning a BS in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University in Chicago in the 1980’s. During the Web 1.0 craze in the late 1990’s, Vernon Keenan was an internationally-known thought leader and industry analyst on Internet commerce. He pioneered research on the impact of e-commerce on the United States economy. And Mr. Keenan predicted the rise of 1st generation Internet exchange eBay and transactional content pioneer Amazon.
Mr. Keenan has participated in the Salesforce ecosystem since 1999. He has worked in a variety of operational roles with Internet and business pioneers at Oracle, Salesforce, Genentech, WebEx, Merrill Lynch, and elsewhere. He is also a telecom operator, business owner, and provider of strategic advisory services to firms of all sizes.
Bill Appleton

Mr. Appleton is a leading expert on authoring tools, API services, and smart client applications. He has designed and written approximately three dozen professional software publications, including the first rich media authoring tool World Builder in 1984, the ground breaking multimedia programming language SuperCard in 1989, the worldwide best selling CD-ROM Titanic in 1996, the first AppExchange application DreamTeam in 2005, the first server-less API Platform DreamFactory in 2013, and Snapshot Org Management for Salesforce in 2018.
Bill previously served as the President of the gaming company CyberFlix where he worked closely with Disney, Paramount, Viacom and Bandai. After that, he was the President of DreamFactory Software, which developed an open source REST API platform for HTML5 and native mobile applications. Currently he is the CTO at Metazoa building the world’s finest Org Management application for the Salesforce ecosystem.
